Councils now allow owners to build right on the boundary line between properties. A concrete foundation was poured which encroached on an angle in front of our carport, in preparation for a house to be constructed right against and along our driveway. We needed urgent assistance before the builders built on the foundation to ensure the boundary line was in the correct position, given that the whole site of our neighbours’ was raised by 1.3m and some of the initial survey markers had been buried under the fill.
