What an absolute pleasure to work with all the team at Sheridan. Building a home is a significant investment and in most cases, represents a new experience. We heard about Sheridan Building through word of mouth and asked them to come out and meet with us. We met with Jarrod initially who we trusted from the get go. Jarrod was very cost conscious with respect to our budget which was an improtant consideration. Jarrod earnt our trust and we decided to build our new family home with Sheridan Building. Upon signing our contract we were unexpectedly greeted with a nice gift and note from Carly. We were informed that Travis will manage our project and supervised by Rich. Travis gave us his mobile and urged us to call at any time. Sheridan Building also has an IT system (CoContruct) which provides weekly project updates and was incredibly useful. We could tell that Sheridan Building took pride in their work, very detailied and accessed highly skilled tradesmen across various disciplines. Travis was very responsive in all correspondence be it a phone call or email through the project. We knew early into the project that we made the right choice. Within 8 months, our newly renovated family home was built which was totally unexpected. Everything ran so smoothly and quite frankly was stress free. We were super impressed with the workmanship of both Sheridan Building and their contractors. Sheridan Building also used social media evidencing their work which we also appreciated. The thing for us that really stood out was the team at Sheridan Buiilding are genuine, highly skilled, responsive, efficient and well respected by both their contractors and local community. We are so grateful that they provided such positive experience and awesome new family home. House Renovation Review: A Seamless Experience with Exceptional Results After living in our newly renovated home for 12 months, we can confidently say we are so happy with how everything looks and feels. Sheridan Building came highly recommended by friends who had used their services before, so we had a good idea of the quality we could expect. And they still managed to exceed our expectations in every way! The entire renovation process was seamless and stress-free from start to finish. Travis, Jarrod and Carly were incredibly professional and so easy to work with. They were highly collaborative, taking time to listen to our ideas and offering thoughtful, constructive feedback. Their advice covered everything from financial aspects to practicality, liveability, and design trends, all based on their wealth of experience from previous projects. One of the most reassuring aspects of working with this team was their honesty and transparency. The initial quote was detailed, accurate, and most importantly, our beautiful renovation was delivered on time without any overruns. The Sheridan Building team and their exceptional trades take great pride in their work and always dedicated time to ensure every detail met their high standards which resulted in high quality finishes throughout the house. The end result speaks for itself — a home that not only looks great but also functions perfectly for our needs. Additionally, the team was respectful of our neighbours, which we truly appreciated during the renovation process. There was no disruption or inconvenience caused to anyone nearby, and the site was always clean and tidy. As repeat clients of Sheridan, we can confidently say that their service and execution of the given project is exceptional. From the outset they were able to explain the process in simple terms and provide a detailed cost for the project. We were exceptionally pleased that the project remained within budget and that it was completed within the time frame. Sheridan building completed an extensive renovation of my Californian bungalow in Strathmore. The project involved a full restoration of the original home, and the addition of a contemporary extension. I could not be more complimentary of both Travis Sheridan who managed our project, and Marie Bagnato of Bagnato Architects. Travis consistently kept me updated on progress and was always transparent in his interactions. The craftsmanship and overall quality of all trades engaged was quite simply, brilliant. We adore our new home, and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Sheridan building!!!
Sheridan Building did a Knockdown and rebuild for us, the build was from Jan 2020 to Oct 2020, so majority of the build itself was during the covid19 waves in 2020. They managed really well over the course of the two major lockdowns and as you can see from the timeline there was no significant delay. Each time i managed to pop out for a visit, no one seemed overly pressured to rush through work and the quality does show in the end. So far having lived in the house for over 3 months now, we are delighted with it. There are absolutely no serious defects, and only superficial ones, I have inspected completion handovers for smaller houses with friends, which had more defects overall and a few serious defects. I would recommend Sheridan Building to anyone who wants to build or extend their home, and would do so myself, in the unlikely scenario I would do it again.
